So I am still having issues with posting pictures. I will keep trying. We have been super busy having lots of fun. We had Jon's family over for Thanksgiving. Then we do our traditional Christmas tree hunt. I am so excited about my tree it is so perfect. We have also been busy making gifts this year. We decided we wanted them to be more personable. Yeah that takes a lot of time. They are turning out really cute, and it has been way fun to spend the time as a family and make them. We had our Buckner Christmas party which I thought turned out awesome. We had a good turn out, and lots of messy fun.
I am so excited for this next week it is candy making, playing, and a bonding time. I love Christmas it teaches us what is really important. This year has been pretty special because our family has seemed to grow closer. With all our trials the best blessing that has come out of it is the bond that has grown with me and my husband and our children.
I know we have trials for a reason, and I am greatful for the blessings that come out of them.
I wish everyone a Merry Christmas!

Craft time at my house. I got a little motivation. I repainted the window, and turned it into my kids art display. They ave been coloring alot more now. I love it.

These are my candle holders that my friend kara posted, and I made them. Easy and cute. They will be my centerpiece on my Thanksgiving table. I love it when I finally finish a project.

I have been trying to update, and finally was able too. Stupid computers. Anyways we have had such an awesome couple of months. Halloween was a blast this year. I think it would have to have been on of my favorites. Abby and I dressed up as indians, she was pocahantas, and I was her friend (can't spell it so hopefully you know her name.)
Colton was a shy spiderman. He would not let me get a picture of him.
More indians!!

Here is my pocahantas, my little unicorn, and my spiderman, and my lovely husband of course.

She loves this costume, and is wearing it still as I am writing this.

I loved this costume. Thanks to my friend Mindy who let me use it.

This was at my first ever halloween party. It was so fun.

I love this girls. The costumes at this party were so hiliarious!

1st time I have ever got jon in a costume. He was so funny he even got his dad's bike for the occasion. He also thought of the costumes. It brought back memories of when we were dating. Good times.

At my house we have been peeling apples to dry, and do apple pie fillling. Abby's favorite part was peeling the apple's which helped a ton. She is my little Betty Crocker. I love it.

Here is my Sugar Cookie recipe.
2 Cups Shortening
2 Cups Sugar
4 Eggs
2 tsp. Vanilla
2 tsp. Salt
16 oz. Sour Cream
8 to 10 Cups of Flour
3 tsp. Soda
Mix all together
Roll out and cut into desired shapes.
Bake @ 350 for 8-12 min.
Frosting
8 oz Cream Cheese
2 tbl. Butter
Powder Sugar ( I use 1/2 to 3/4 of a bag. It depends on the thickness and taste.)
1 tsp. Vanilla
With my pumpkin ones I usually have them decorated with m&m's and candy corn, but usually I don't have any leftovers as you can tell.
After you bake them you can put them in a zip lock bag and freeze them. So you don't waste all the cookies. They still taste just as soft.

We have been having so much fun for the rest of the warm weather.
Miley has learned to eat corn on the cob, except she likes to eat from end to end. She is so cute. She loves to play duck duck goose, hide and seek, and she loves peek a boo. But of all the things she loves it would be anything outside.

Abby was in her very 1st parade for her school. I was having a hard time leaving her, but she had a blast with all her little friends.

Colton had crazy hair day at school. He would let me get the top of his head, but it is different colors. It made him crazy too. His teacher did survive. She is awesome and Colton loves it.

This is Abby and her little parade friends.

My mom, my sister Emily, and I had the wonderful opportunity to go to the Relief Society Broadcast. It was so uplifting, and wonderful. I can never get enough of the temple grounds in Salt Lake they are so beautiful.

This is my lovely mom, and my gorgeous sister Emily. Mom is with the boot and Emily is the one trying to keep her skirt from flying off.

Here in this great photo that is so clear is our wonderful 1st presidency.

I love this temple at night it is so breath taking.

I have been canning everything I can this season. I have not had the greatest luck with my garden so I am so thankful for those who are willing to share. I am just trying to prepare. Last November is when my husband was laid off from his last job, and now they are saying they are doing layoff's in November for this job. I am hoping and praying that either we get one before then, or he makes it past November til spring. I have never been with out a job, it is a eye opener, and a faith builder, but I am not sure I am ready for another round.
But on a good thing this year has been very productive, I have done 4 batches of salsa, 6 batches of jam, 2 batches of fruit leather, froze corn, froze zuchini, spagetti sauce, pizza sauce, pickles, and am still going. It has been fun!

Here is our summer just backwards. We had such a great one. I wish I could post all the pics. I have had so much fun and am still enjoying the warm weather. My kids have made this so awesome. So has my honey Jon. This is my adorable little Colton.
Our little Cowgirl Abby.
Miley's pics are coming soon.
This was our little ward trek. It was so awesome.

We surprised my mom at her triatholon. She said she didn't need any cheerleaders. Liar we always need cheerleaders. So I went to cheer her on cause I could not compete this year.

Girl's camp loved it andcan't wait till next year.

Miley turned 1. Holy cow my baby is so big. She walks and talks, and has all her teeth. She is into everything. Very independent, and is the cutest baby ever. Lovin her is all we do.

This was our little goat brownie. We were going to keep him, but I just didn't want to hear him cry every time the horses left so we sold him. Loved the goat.

T his was from the top of one of the mountain we went on with our 4 wheeler. It was so pretty this year cause of the rain. We love to go look at all the scenery. It was a great year for it.

This was our family camping trip. Except Jon was huntin so we just played around. I loved it. We had a blast except at night when it got cold. So we are now saving for a camper hopefully if things go right we will have one by next year.

She loves to be outside.
This was an awesome summer. We are still staying busy. Jon is working lots of hours so not much time together, but we sure treasure what time we have. We have also had my cousin and her kids living with us that was so fun to have them here. I know they wanted their own place , but we loved them here. We are still busy canning and freezing for our food storage. I love doing it but sometimes I just want to go buy it to bad it doesn't taste the same. Hopefully I can do better next time enjoy the pics.

So here is more summer activities we have done. This was fair week. Abby and Colton got to show Emily's 2 lambs. They had so much fun. Abby loved doing sheep. She was so sad to see them go.

She is so my little cow girl . This summer she has learned to rein and ride all by herself. She is no longer little. It is so fun to watch her. She loves going with her dad. She wants to go in the mountains Jon is not quite ready to try that with her. Maybe next summer.

This is Emily my little sis( not a good pic I'll see if I can find a better one.) She did her sheep and did awesome. This was her first year, and placed 1st in her class and 2nd or 3rd overall I am going to have to double check. She was so excited and we were for her. All her hard word and tears paid off.

Along with sheep she wanted to do a horse show so we put our lovely Penny in and they did awesome. I am hoping to have my colt ready for next year so she can use her.

We did the preston rodeo and Abby loves roller coasters and she loved the rodeo . We got really good seats, and they had fun as usual. I think Abby could watch them all day. So I could. We both love the barrell racing part. That has always been a dream of mine. Maybe one day.

Havin fun at the parade aitin for candy.

4th of July the sun went down and both of them were so ready for bed.

This was our 4 wheeler ride with the fam. Michelle is scaring my mother in law. She is pretending to scream. I loved it this was so fun.

This was us waiting for everyone to catch up. They had all the kids so we just sat and enjoyed the quiet. My kids seem to not like to ride with us when their aunt michelle and grandma and grandpa are around hmmm.

So these next few entries are what I have some what been up to all summer. I have had the greatest time going on horse rides withy my lover Jon. He is so funny. In the picture below he is showing me how big his arms are . And that is me and my lovely horse penny. Love the old thing. This was one of my favorite rides. We were going to go up to this lake that our dear friend Dorothy told us. Well we went the other way. It was an adventure jumping some logs, and finding the trail that was not even a trail, but what is better getting lost with some one you love. Loved it.

This was a far a way picture of the falls they were gorgeous. You can hike to them just not any farther.

This is what we our view was coming out of the mountain absolutely gorgeous.

This was Abby getting her face painted at the fair. She was so excited just no in this picture(the other ones didn't turn out). She was mad when we had to wash it off for school.

This was my little Colton's first day of preschool. He forgot to kiss me good bye he was so excited to go.

This is little Miley's 1st ponytail. We were late for church all because I put this little thing in.

Abby's 1st day of kindergarten. This was her coming out. I mixed the pics up so you get it back wards.

There she is walking in to school. Tears started flowing then.

This was right before we went out the door. I was okay then.
I have more pics for the next post. But this has been busy busy summer.
