I have missed a month. We have been having quite the excitement. 1st off the best news yet we are having a baby. I know that some of you know, but it seems to be every where. We lost the baby before. So I was not expecting to be pregnant, but surprise!! We are so excited I can't wait.
I am really struggling with the fact of gaining weight since I worked so hard, and got down to lowest I have ever been, but I know the out come is so more important than my figure.
Other exiting news is coming to you in a backwards time line since I forget every time I load the pics wrong. We had an awesome halloween. Jon took the kids out all by himself while I got to greet all the little trick or treaters. You will notice in the pic that my cute fairy has a purple hand. She burnt her little hand on the stove. She is doing well, but for a little hand she had a lot of blisters.
This is Jon and I dressed for our little halloween party as Tom Hanks and Wilson. Jon came up with this idea. It was so fun. I tried to persuade him in to wearing a loin cloth, but he was not up to it.

We went to the Barnem and Bailey Circus in Salt Lake with my sister in law Michelle, and her kids. It was so much fun!!

Here is my little runner. She ran her first race by herself. She did awesome. She loves to run so she was so excited.
I can't wait for the holidays. More fun coming, and hopefully keep you up to date better.
Wish everyone lots of love cause everyone needs it. !!!

We have been having so much fun in the month of August. We got us 4 new little puppies. They are so adorable. Abby has a name for each one. I am not sure that she know which one is which yet. It has been a chore to make sure that the kids don't just go play with them.

Abby started 1st grade this year. I am such a proud mother. She is growing up so fast. She loves that she can just walk to school now, it makes it even more fun that she gets to walk with all her little girl friends from the block. And yes the crazy bed head in the corner is Miley. I could not keep her away to just get one of Abby alone.
We also showed our sheep this year. They didn't do as well as last year, but everyone seemed to have fun. Abby did it all by herself this year. Colton opted to stay with grandma on this day.

He did come help wash the first day. He is such a little man. He loved the sheep.

We did horse shows with our new horse Socks. He is so awesome, and my sister loves him almost as much as I do. She took her first blue ribbon in horsemanship. It was so fun this year!!

This is my favorite pic it captures the fun in all this.

We had a great fair week, and were sad to see the sheep leave, but glad to have a break. We are enjoying the nice cool weather with just fun horse rides, 4 wheeler rides, and bike rides. I am hoping that the fall weather stays for awhile.
Until next wishing everyone lots of love and happiness.

I just want to say upfront this is more for me to let something off my chest. So please don't be offended.

So this morning I was going through some things from back in the day. It was so nice to see the memories, but I can't help but feel bad for the things I didn't do. I loved school, I just know I didn't do my best. I was always trying so hard to fit in when really just being yourself is what did the trick. I didn't even give myself a chance. I was trying to be what they wanted me to be. After reading things about the people from High School you realize that people are not who you think they are. I am one I have to learn things the hard way, but I am hoping I can help my kids not live the same way.

Every time I look at my senior swimming pics I feel so awful. I was suppose to be the team captain, but for me I was so wrapped up in feeling sorry for myself that I had hurt my shoulder, and was not able to compete that I let my team down. So I am saying sorry to all my team mates who should of had a better example to look up to. I gave up soon as the doc said your done.

I am just so glad that we all have the ability to forgive and forget. I know we learn and grow through our trials even when they are so small.

If you need a place to let your sorries out you can do it here. I hope I am not the only one with regrets from the past.

I love summer time. It is so fun to go explore parks, and go on hikes. Today I have been thinking alot on how grateful I am for my healthy little ones. They are so much fun, and some stress.
We have 2 sheep and lately they think it is fun to get out, but my little cowgirl Abby just goes out and puts them away. I don't even have to ask. She is so awesome.
We are selling her horse as of Tuesday, and she said, " You can only sale my horse as long as you promise to buy me a black and white paint, or a palamino." I love that she knows what she wants.
My little Colton is on a skateboarding kick. I have no idea where he got it from, but it is cheaper than a motorcycle that he has been asking for.
Baby Miley holy cow! She is my little scooter. She is always on the go. She stands by the door and says."Penny mom Penny". In her words that means she wants to go ride the horses. She is always runnin one way or another. I am just glad she has not grown out of the nap stage. Cause I need that 2 hour break to sit, put my feet up, and have a pepsi.
Today would have to be the longest day ever. We got some bad news this morning, and waiting for Jon to get home seems like a century. I know things happen for a reason, but I am still going to cry over it. There is always a good thing that comes out of a bad thing. So we are going to have to hold on to the good for a while. I am just so grateful that my family is all healthy and strong.

Things have been pretty crazy. We have been doing horse shows, and playing alot at all the different parks around the valley. My kids are loving it. So far their favorite is mack park because I let them get in the river and come home soakin wet.

We have also hit another speed bump in our family. Jon was laid off his job. We are praying he can get another job within the next month. I know that Heavenly Father watches out for us, so I will just keep praying and having faith. I am not sure what else to do.

On a happier note we are still enjoying our family time. Jon has worked alot, and we have not seen much of him so it is nice to finally get some time with him. I also love that my work load is like cut in half. He is so amazing to help.

I will try posting some of our fun pics when they will upload.

I have been having more fun lately. I accomplished running the Ragnar. It was hard , but so fun!! It felt so awesome ! Jon took care of my kids while I was gone. They had a blast. He took them fishing, horse riding, four wheelin, and then we won tickets to Toy Story 3, and they went to the movie. Then came and picked me up in Park City. They had a blast too.

This is our sweet saying on our car. "Check out our Rack" I loved it. It was an all girls team.
Our team name was Bouncers.

We also did swim lessons, which was so funny to watch. Abby loved every minute and Colton he was started to on the last day after I bought him magic goggles.
So far it has been so fun. I can't wait for more.

So it has a been awhile! We have been having lots of fun. I will post pics later. I am so excited that my husband is working close to home I love having him around. I am also now in the 1st councelor in the primary presidency, and am way excited. I love the primary so much, and I want everyone to feel that! I am also going to do a triatholon, and the wasatch back relay! I am so excited I tell everyone! I have never done anything like this so it is so exciting.

Jon is working and enjoying being with us. He got a bmx bike and loves to go ride with the kids. He is also going to try to do the middle of the tetons this year! I am so proud of him!

Abby is going to school, and riding her horse anytime she can. She is now a lone rider she does everything on her own it is so fun to watch. She is growing so much and is so much fun. I took her shopping for her easter dress, and we spent 3 hours before she found the right twirling dress. I love her.

Colton, wow he is my entertainment everyday. He is my bike riding dare devil. He is building jumps and seeing how much air he can get. With his pedal bike that still has training wheels. He is always coming up with new ideas!

Miley Jo, she is my little one that is so cute you can't say no to her. She loves her brothers and sisters, and wants to be a part of it. She is also a horse lover, and will scream and cry till you put her on the horse. She is still a daddy's girl. She is starting to say more words, and is getting more independant. She is so fun.

I love my little family. I love being a mom and a wife. This is the life!!

Thursday, February 4, 2010

I have been thinking about how time flies with kids. We had to make a poster for Abby's class for her birthday. She has grown up so much and even with in just the last year. She surprises us everyday. Colton has been just amazed me too. He loves school, and can't wait to go. He only goes to preschool 2 days a week but would love if it were everyday. He is such a caring and funny little boy. He has this serious voice and when he uses it you can't help but laugh. My little Miley she is starting to get the words out, and knows exactly what she wants. Out of my 3 kids she is the one that has her dad wrapped around her little finger. She is for sure a daddy's girl, and he loves every minute of it.
In our little family we are just cherishing every moment we have together. Jon may have to go away with this next job so we are trying to just enjoy the time we have him here. It is only for a couple of months, but it is hard to have him away.
I am so blessed. My kids are so awesome, and my husband is the greatest man ever! !

Monday, January 18, 2010

So I have had some amazing things happen for me and my family. We have been struggling these last couple of months trying to keep things together. I have never felt the spirit so strong in our home than over the last month. There is not even words that can describe the gratitude and love that I have felt. I know now that if we put our faith in our Heavenly Father, and trust him that things work out. It sure doesn't make the problems go away, but they seem less of a burden to carry. I am so grateful today to have the gospel in my life, and to have friends and family that are such great instruments for our Heavenly Father. Thanks for everything!!

Monday, January 11, 2010

So we have been having another fun month. My little brother just got married on Sunday yahoo! I am so excited we love his new wife Mikelle. She is so fun.

We were so lucky to have Jon home for a whole 10 days with No work and all play.
We did alot of sledding and just playing in the snow! Miley loved it we still can't keep her inside she just wants to be outside all the time.

We did our traditional going up to hardware ranch on New Year's Day! My kids love this it is so fun. We go on the wagon see all the elk, and then go back to the car drink hot chocolate, then go do some sledding.

This Colton and Caleb. They were quite the pair on this trip.

We had some friends over for some sledding. It was so fun. We went over to the river by our house. It was pretty funny to watch the boys test out all the possible thin spots.
We are still having so much fun! I am so blessed to have such a great family. I love them so much!!
